With iOS 15.2 and later, you can check your iPhone’s Parts and Service History under Settings > General > About to see if any components have been replaced.

iOS 18 "Used Part" & Paired Components Explained
With iOS 18, if a genuine Apple part from another iPhone is installed, the system will now display “Used” instead of “Unknown Part.”
However, some components are paired and must be calibrated together to function properly. If not, you may experience malfunctions or error messages.
🔹 Screen replacements require pairing with the proximity sensor ribbon.
🔹 Face ID components must match the original logic board.
🔹 Battery replacements need proper calibration to display battery health.
🔹 Camera modules are paired with the LiDAR sensor for depth and focus accuracy.
If a paired component is mismatched or uncalibrated, features like Face ID, Auto-Brightness, or Portrait Mode may not work properly.
